A beautifully crafted Australian stock saddle from James Saddlery, featuring the innovative Flex-Fit tree, revolving stirrup bars and lovely traditional tooling throughout.
The Flex-Fit tree is designed with flexibility through the side rails and ground seat, allowing the saddle to move more naturally with the horse while distributing the rider’s weight across the back.
The fenders are mounted on James Saddlery’s exclusive revolving stirrup bars. These rotate with the rider’s leg to give the fenders greater freedom of movement, creating a smooth, friction-free feel and allowing the rider to move their legs forward when required, including when riding downhill. The system also retains the safety benefits of a conventional Australian stirrup bar, allowing the fender to release in a dragging situation.
Crafted from quality leather tanned in the USA using American and Canadian hides, this saddle has been made with strength, longevity and attention to detail in mind. James Saddlery also carefully selects the strongest sections of each hide for high-wear areas such as the fenders and skirts.
The intricate tooling adds plenty of character and showcases the workmanship James Saddlery is known for.
Approximately 10 years old and presenting as a lovely, well-made saddle with many years of use ahead of it when properly cared for.
