Traditional Leather from the Maranoa in Queensland
Straight out of Wallumbilla, these hobble belts are made by Sam Lingard, a talented maker from one of the pioneering families of the region.
The hobble belt has its roots in the outback — once a practical piece of bush gear, used to secure a horse when you were miles from anywhere. Over time, it’s become a favourite for everyday wear — strong, simple and made to last.
Sam’s belts carry that same tradition. Each one is hand and machine stitched using quality stainless steel fittings and beautiful, hard-wearing leather.
Single Ring (Size 40) – the classic working style.
Double Ring (Size 42) – a true nod to the original hobble design.
Crafted with care and built for a lifetime of wear — these are the kind of belts that tell a story.
